Für diese neue Version von Queen Rock Montreal wurden die alten Aufnahmen aufwendig restauriert, um die bestmögliche Qualität zu gewährleisten. Der Sound von Queen Rock Montreal und Live Aid wird erstmals in Dolby Atmos präsentiert.
Die BluRay- und 4K-Versionen enthalten jeweils auf der ersten Disc Queen Rock Montreal im Vollbildformat, erstmals in hochskaliertem HD mit Dolby Atmos-Ton. Die zweite Disc enthält das Konzert in Montreal im Breitbildformat und ein Featurette mit einem Blick hinter die Kulissen, das Queen bei den Proben für Live Aid zeigt, unterbrochen von einem Interview mit der Band, das kurz vor Live Aid aufgenommen wurde.
Die Auftritte von Queen Rock Montreal und Live Aid werden in LPCM Stereo, DTS-HD Master Audio und erstmals auch in Dolby Atmos präsentiert. Queen Rock Montreal enthält außerdem einen Kommentar von Brian May und Roger Taylor.
